Primark Homewear Watermelon Lemonade Candle First Impressions

Primark Homewear Watermelon Lemonade Candle First Impressions!

Primark have been well known for some time now for there amazing homewear products from bedding to candles to cushions they really have some amazing items. I have always fell in love with there candle ranges as they have a wide selection of scents and packaging. I recently popped into my local Primark (Manchester Market Street) and saw they have new Spring season candles there were three in the collection: Appletini (mint green packaging), Lemon sherbet (Pastel yellow packaging) & Watermelon Lemonade (pastel pink) I was stuck for choice between the watermelon lemonade and appletini as both smelled amazing, the lemon sherbet really had that loo cleaner whiff to it, after much negotiating with myself the watermelon lemonade was coming home with me (I am a sucker for anything watermelon flavored or scented).
The packaging is very retro/vintage in almost a old school jam jar style with a metal screw off lid and glass jar. The label has a blue and cream vintage almost wallpaper print to it, similar to something coughed up in the 70's that would of been on someones wall or curtain print. The candle itself is pastel pink and just from un-screwing the lid you can instantly smell the product it's not subtle and not over powder it's that kind of smell you know is there but doesn't offend your nostrils after being sat next to it for a while. When burning you can smell it once you enter the room as it really does fill the room with the most amazing watermelon scent. It comes in two different sizes a smaller one at £1.00 and a larger one (that I purchased) for £3.00, the larger one is defiantly worth purchasing as you get a lot of product and up to 50 hours burn time for your money. I will be repurchasing this candle again.
